Rangers Look To Bounce Back After Tough 2007

The 2007 season proved to be an off year for the usually dominant Rangers. Competing for the first (and hopefully only) year in the 18 year old and over MABL division, the club finished with a 12-21 record, it's worst record in at least a decade. Several of the losses were recorded from forfeit due to not having enough players, but club President Kevin Craig hopes to rectify that situation for 2008.

"We went through a tough stretch last year," said Craig, "but I think we're getting all that straightened out and look forward to a strong campaign this spring."

Among the changes, look for the Rangers to move to the Capitol Division and welcome back several former stalwarts who should help shore up the roster.

I am quite sure that the Rangers will be back in typical "Ranger" form this year. The average age per player will bounce back up a bit this year, but hey looking at guys like Roger Clemens and age can be like fine wine and the most productive years come with that undeniable wisdom one has after years on the diamond. Throw in a little HGH and this 2008 Rangers squad may destined for the AMBL hall of fame!! lol
